Hope for Eldoret was an organization based in the slums of Eldoret, Kenya, which operated from 2005-2008. Through a child sponsorship program, needy children and orphans received assistance with education, food, and shelter.

The organization partnered with the non-profit charity Lahash International.

Unfortunately, starting with the 2007 election riots, the project was set back time and time again. Currently, Lahash has no full-time staff to administrate the program. Consequently, the program was discontinued in September 2008.

Thank you so much to all the wonderful sponsors who helped these dear children. Pictured left is an orphan named Stephen Kariuki who was assisted in a time of great desperation. Many children like Stephen were given critical help through generous sponsors.
